Liadh urges public to support West Cork Development Partnership Consultation

Laidh Ní Riada MEPSinn Féin MEP Liadh Ní Riada has called on the public to take part in the consultation process for the proposed Local Development Strategy (LDS), which will be put forward by West Cork Development Partnership for the EU funded LEADER programme.

Liadh Ní Riada said:

“I am delighted that West Cork Development Partnership (WCDP) have been given the go ahead to prepare and submit a local development strategy for the new LEADER scheme.

Ice plant closures will see fishing boats tied-up

FisheriesSinn Féin MEP Liadh Ní Riada has called on Minister Simon Coveney to intervene immediately to ensure ice plants in Howth, Kilmore and Dunmore East are re-opened by tomorrow and accused the Minister of sleepwalking into the crisis.
